There are 60 questions in the CSA exam covering five specific learning domains that take into account a percentage of this exam. It means 20% interface and navigation, 10% collaboration, 30% database administration, 30% service automation, and 10% introduction of scripting and application. 

Certified Implementation Specialist

CIS or Certified Implementation Specialist Certification is a part of the ServiceNow implementer path. This comes with six specialized certifications associated with Servicenow specific products. This path of the specialized certification includes Service mapping, Financial management, Service Management, Customer Service, HR, Financial Management, Security and Vulnerability responses. There is its own set of training and courses to earn with each certification based on ServiceNow products.

In the exam, there is a multiple-choice question in a different section that covers five learning domains and takes into account a certain percentage of this exam. It is calculated as 10% of project planning and engagement methodology, 30% of core system setup, 20% tuning and performance and 30% configuration.

Certified Application Developer

CAD or Certified Application Developer is the certification that covers one’s ability to design applications along with user interfaces, business and database logic. You must also have the knowledge of writing, testing and debugging client-side or server side scripts, manage and implement application security and automate applications by using different products. A successful CAD candidate can design and implement user interfaces by taking into account usability, requirement, design, form, scripts and platforms. 

There are 60 questions in the CAD exam focus on six specific learning domains and take into account a certain percentage of this exam. It includes 15% design and creates an application, 20% application automation, 20% application user interface, 20% security restricting access, 10% working on external data and 15% managing applications.
